As a licensed marriage and family therapist, certified pediatric sleep consultant, and mom of two, I understand how crucial restful sleep is for the entire family. My journey into sleep consulting emerged from both professional insights and personal experiences, leading me to create The Dream Team Method.
I hold a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy and run my own private practice. My therapeutic approach is rooted in attachment theory and emotionally focused therapy, emphasizing the family as an interconnected system. I believe sleep is child-attuned and parent-led, and I love helping parents recognize their ability to positively influence their child's sleep in a way that aligns with their parenting style.
My passion for sleep education began during my first pregnancy when my sister shared invaluable tips on establishing good sleep hygiene. As I navigated the uncertainties of motherhood, I immersed myself in research, learning everything I could about infant sleep. My sister's support in those early months was a game-changer, encouraging me to stay consistent and work toward my long-term goal of shaping independent sleep habits, even when I felt exhausted.
As a therapist, I witness firsthand how sleep deprivation affects couples with young children. It impacts their ability to engage fully in their roles as parents, professionals, and partners, leading to declines in mental health and overall happiness. Lack of sleep creates a domino effect, making everyday challenges feel insurmountable. It's no wonder why so many new parents struggle to find their footing in the first year!
You don’t have to navigate this journey alone. When you're in the thick of it, having a plan and someone supporting you can be the hand you need to pull you out. Your little one deserves restful sleep, and so do you!
I’d love to work together to help you achieve your sleep goals and build your Dream Team!
